Glass to Glass Latch L1K dimension:
Stainless steel magna latch 65mm high;
Pool gate glass panel hole – 20mm in from glass edge, 42mm apart.
No hole required in 12mm fixed glass panel.
Glass to Wall Post Latch L2K dimension:
Stainless steel magna latch 65mm high;
Pool gate glass panel hole – 20mm in from glass edge, 42mm apart.
Mount on flat wall or square post directly.
Glass Pool Gate Latch & Hinge Kit Feature:
1.Pool gate latch works with easy to open but strong magnet, suitable for freedom glass 12mm toughened glass panels or wall or post and 8mm or 10mm toughened glass gate (we suggest gate spacing allowance between panels should be 816mm), all fittings are included. Latch gap allowance is 8mm.
2.New design pool gate hinges with two head caps suit 8mm and 10mm gates (we suggest gate spacing allowance between panels should be 816mm), will fit onto 12mm fixed glass or wall or round post, all screws and bushes, gaskets and our certicap design in white finish supplied.
3.Designed and manufactured according to to Australian Standard AS1926.1-2007 for swimming pool fencing safety, Australia Balustrade Standard AS1288 & AS1926.
Glass Pool Gate Latch & Hinge Kit Installation:
1. Attach the self-closing hinges H1 with the hinge body on the outside.
2. Attach the male section of the gate latch L1/L2/L3 to the gate.
3. Place timber packers for the glass gate to sit on while attaching the gate locks and hinges.
4. Attach the hinges to the hinging panel, which has pre-drilled hinge holes to fix your frameless glass gate hinge to. Position the glass gate so the holes in the hinges line up with the holes in the hinge panel and attach.
5. Attach the female section of the pool gate latch to the latching panel or wall or round post.
6. Apply tension packer between the glass and gate latch with the double sided tape against the glass, then tighten the grub screws on the latch. Or just screws to wall/ post.
7. Tension frameless glass fencing gate by using the hinge pin rotating the hinge barrel and re-positioning the small pin in the required hole making sure you tension both hinges.
8. Test the pool fencing gate to ensure it closes from all positions, including only slightly open.
Glass Pool Gate Latch & Hinge Kit Regulation:
1.Swimming pool glass gate latch must be mounted pool side, 300mm down from the top of the gate
2.According to Australia Standard AS1926 for frameless pool fence, entrances to pools should feature self-closing gates with one latch and two self closing hinges for a fully frameless glass pool fencing g/glass application.
